Windy is a good way to talk about the Hawaiian Islands right now.Yesterday morning we went to Waikiki to surf a 6-8 foot south west swell and almost got blown out to sea even at 6:00 a.m.The wind was coming from Diamond Head at 30 knots and making waves at the 3:00 position.So far the South Shore has been very good for waves this year.We all hope that the trend will last all summer and into the fall as the North Shore picks up.The selection of surfboards is the best it has ever been.Roger Hinds and Mike Casey have been shaping awsome boards.........
