OOooo it's been a little while.This morning we surfed Populars in Waikiki.The surf was 2-4 and windy.we had a special guest from Ocean City.Joe Matera tore up the surf for a few hours and I think he will go home and put everything on e-bay so he can move here and surf waves like this every day.On a sad note:Mike Diffenderfer passed away the other day and will be missed by all.For all you surfers out there that do not know Diffenderfer,he is the guy that named the Pipeline 45 years ago and one of the first to ride huge waves at Waimea Bay.Diffenderfer was also a first class shaper and if you have one of his surfboards you are lucky......

Now that we are on the forth South swell we really think it will be a great year for perfect waves on the South facing shores of all Hawaiian Islands.We hit town twice last week and it was a blast.We have been testing a new leash from Poorboy Surf Products and it is coiled like a boogy board leash.The longboard one is coiled half the length of the leash.It has three swivels in it's length.One at the knee one at the center and one at the board.So far so good and we also had the leash on a big Haleiwa day and we were testing recoil and there seems to be no problem.Also in Waikiki on the big days in the last few weeks.We are happy to announce the return of our number one test rider Robb Mike who will be back soon to help us test several boards from different shapers.Robb had a sholder operation cause he surfs too much and his arms are wearing out.We took the Cheater ll out for some heavy sea tests and were very happy how the board rode in ten foot surf.More big waves this week in Waikiki.We will be there............
