HOW TO GET HERE...
![]() From Sunset Beach or Turtle Bay area:
From Sunset Beach travel west, 6.8 miles
to the Haleiwa exit then get into right lane and exit off of Kamehameha
Hwy. Travel on this road 1.1 miles and you will see the American flag
flying in the middle of Haleiwa and a big green building behind the
flag.This is Strong Current.
From Honolulu International Airport:
While inside of the airport look for the
words "Interstate H1" on highway one sign. It will say Honolulu Waikiki
or Waianae. Turn onto the exit ramp and stay left. You want to go
" H1 West Waianae". Stay in left lane and exit onto H1. Travel on
H1 for 7 miles and get into right two lanes. Look for "Exit 8A,
H2 North Mililani, Wahiawa Travel on H2 for 7.6 more miles then
get off at "Exit 8 Wahiawa" stay straight through the town of Wahiawa
. As you exit the town you will go down a small hill and through a
bridge. Stay on that road (Interstate 99), for 8 miles until you see
the brown " Historic Haleiwa Town" sign .Please stay to the left in
the left turn lane.
At the signal turn left and follow the road to the circle. Keep right into the beginning of the town of Haleiwa. you should see a 7-11 store and gas station on your right side, proceed to the big green building in the middle of Haleiwa, about 3 minutes down the road on the right. We have a American Flag flying out front and we are the green building right there.If the weather is good we usually have some kind of cool car out front. Please come hungry because one of the best lunch or early dinner spots is next to Strong Current called Grass Skirt Grill.Fresh fish every day and fresh cut greens every beautiful Hawaiian morning.The price is right and you will leave full and happy.You can park behind the Grass Skirt Grill or in front of Strong Current.

It has some of the world's most beautiful beaches and sunsets, and is
the new filming location for the popular TV show Lost. Snorkeling, fishing,
surfing, and kayaking are just a few of the activities to be found right
outside this bungalow. Numerous turtles and other exotic sea life are
frequently visible from the bungalow and the beach.
